MUST READ!! There's No Barangay and SK elections will be held According to Speaker Alvarez!

The scheduled Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections on October 23, 2017 is no guarantee that I will continue or not according to House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez.

This is despite the statement by the Commission on Elections (Comelec) that their rank is ready if the Barangay and SK elections are to be held.

In an interview with Bombo Radyo Cauayan Alvarez announced that there is a great chance that the election will not be held. This is when President Rodrigo Duterte has earlier suggested that the barangay election will no longer be held

Alvarez led the ongoing travel trip of about a hundred lawmakers in the congressman to Isabela to see the conditions of infrastructure projects in northern Luzon.

The six-day travel of congressmen began on Wednesday, where first visited Agoo, La Union and other parts of the Ilocos Region. After arriving here in Isabela following a group of congressmen went to the province of Quirino and some parts of northern Luzon.

Some of the lead congressmen on exposure trips are House Majority Leader Rodolfo Fariñas, Ilocos Sur Representative Eric Singson Rep. Reynaldo Umali, Rep. Lucy Torres Gomez and many more. Lawmakers are in the 30 sports utility vehicles (SUVs) and four buses that are now rotating in northern Luzon.
