BREAKING NEWS...NBI conducts inspection on Iloilo Mayor Mabilog's house! According to Duterte's order.

Members of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Region 6 entered the house of Iloilo City Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog Last Thursday afternoon August 31, 2017. The three-story house is located in Barangay Tap-oc, Molo, Iloilo City and is facing the Iloilo River.

NBI special investigators led by John Catipunan and Arnold Diaz led the NBI team to the mayor's home. According to the NBI-6, they will be partners with the NBI Central Office in investigating the mayor's estate. It aims to document those located throughout the mayor's house and its properties.

Following this, President Rodrigo Duterte's order was submitted to Mayor Mabilog's lifetext check. The mayor had earlier said that his home was not a palace and that it was allegedly linked to the partnership between them. Recall that yesterday the President called on the palace to house the house of Mabilog, which the mayor denied.

Mabilog insisted that even before he went into politics, he had some business with his wife Marivic. Mabilog said that some of his colleagues worked in Canada for his wife Marivic to invest in investing. He was already a businessman in Manila before he decided to permanently settle in Iloilo and run a city councilor.
